Frequently asked questions
What is EUCLI?
The European Care, Longevity & Innovation Hub (EUCLI) is an independent European network connecting people across care, longevity and AgeTech, so innovation is developed with real care realities in mind and reaches the older adults who need it most.
Who runs EUCLI, and how is it funded?
EUCLI started in early 2026 as an independent, volunteer-run initiative. It is currently self-funded by its founder, Joanna Ata, and supported by its partners and sponsors. There are no investors behind it and no institutional agenda.
Is joining EUCLI free?
Yes. Personal membership is free, and every member has full access to the community. Organisations can also support EUCLI as an EUCLI Partner or an EUCLI Sponsor. See Partners & Sponsors.
Who can join?
Anyone working to improve older adults' lives: founders and innovators, care providers, researchers and educators, policymakers, investors, and older adults and caregivers themselves. You apply through the member portal, and the EUCLI team reviews each request.

What do members get?
A personal profile and a place in the Ecosystem directory. You can post opportunities, resources, stories, events and benefits in your own name (reviewed by EUCLI first), offer and request mentoring, request introductions, and join EUCLI events.
What is the difference between an EUCLI Partner and an EUCLI Sponsor?
EUCLI Partners are non-profit organisations that share EUCLI's mission and support its work. EUCLI Sponsors are companies and organisations that sponsor EUCLI with a yearly membership. Both get a badge and more visibility in the Ecosystem, and Sponsors get extra benefits. Neither decides who joins, what we publish or whom we introduce.
Is EUCLI a funding body?
No. EUCLI does not give grants or investment, and it cannot promise the outcome of any introduction. We do share funding calls in our Resources and help members find partners for EU and international funding consortia.
How do introductions work?
Members can ask for an introduction through the member portal. We connect people when there is real alignment, for example a founder looking for a pilot site and a care provider looking for a solution to that problem.
How can I propose an event or programme?
Use the contact form and choose "Proposing an event". Tell us what you are planning and who it is for. We co-host sessions and share relevant partner events with our members.
How can I stay up to date?
How do you handle my personal data?
We only collect what we need, we don't sell data, and analytics only load if you agree. See the privacy notice for the details.
